Partners of America, Chapter Rio Grande do Norte-Maine, has supported the practice of chess in Iapissara Aguiar Public School, located in the north of Natal, the capital of the state. The photo above shows the student of that school participating in a chess tournament held at the Academia Damasceno of Chess in 10.10.2009. Research has proven that chess is important for the development of mathematical reasoning, concentration and self-knowledge.
